FIT/One Würzburg Baskets travel to Szombathely to face Hapoel Nethanel Holon
One of the most successful debutants, Coach Sasa Filipovski's Würzburg will look to set themselves up to qualify to the Round of 16 as they play Hapoel Nethanel Holon.
With "big two" Zac Seljaas and Mike Davis Jr leading the German side (both top 10 in scoring), Würzburg only lost to Nanterre 92 in their first 4 Basketball Champions League games.
However, their loss by 8 points meant a tie-breaker advantage is now held by the French side, meaning Würzburg will need to be one win clear to qualify as first. To do so, they need to overcome an in-form Hapoel Nethanel Holon.
After a slow start, the Israeli are now on a two-game winning streak in the Regular Season. Marcus Bingham Jr. has been the offensive catalyst with 17 pts and 5.8 rebounds on average, while Michale Kyser has been their defensive anchor. With Bingham having made the switch to Hapoel Tel Aviv, it remains to be seen how well Hapoel Holon can produce offensively.
Will Sasa Filipovski's team do enough to put a first-place finish (and a R16 trip) into their own hands, or will Hapoel Holon get their longest winning streak since October 2022?
