The Basketball Champions League Round of 16 started with losses for Aliaga Petkimspor and Pallacanestro Reggiana as their respective trips to Spain were unsuccessful.

Pallacanestro Reggiana was able to get going at the weekend, putting Vanoli Cremona to bed early with Faye's 20 points in 22 minutes and Kenneth Faried's double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Aliaga Petkimspor have been strong at the Aliaga Belediyesi Enka Arena this BCL, winning four of their five home games there, and they'll need to keep this going if they want to stay in the mix in the competitive Group K.
