Manisa and Galatasaray looking to stay in the mix as they face off in Turkish BCL Derby

Neither Manisa Basket nor Galatasaray got what they wanted in their Basketball Champions League. Round of 16 opening as they succumbed to champions Unicaja and Rytas Vilnius respectively. Both teams suffered defeats in the Super League at the weekend as well, and will be wanting to get back to winning ways and earn bragging rights over their local rivals at tip-off at the Muradiye Sports Hall.

Galatasaray are famous for their ability to bounce back - the team have not lost consecutive game since last year's Round of 16. However, Manisa Basket have a strong homecourt record with three wins and one loss.

Thanks to their talent, Manisa Basket are a top-10 BCL offense, and will be looking to rely on Saben Lee (a top-4 PIE player in the league, per Viziball) to make homecourt advantage count.

Galatasaray have a mean defense (BCL 7th) and will look to shut down Manisa to get back on track for a shot at getting out of the Round of 16. Yakup Sekizkok's team have a 9-win winning streak when conceding 80 points or fewer, and this will be their angle as they travel to Manisa.
