Gladiators and Oradea go neck to neck in Antalya for a chance at BCL Regular Season
After finishing third in the BBL Championship, the Caledonia Gladiators were on the wrong end of an upset. The Scottish outfit faced elimination from the hands of the Newcastle Eagles, the sixth seed in the BBL, in the quarter finals. If they want to go all the way to the BCL Regular Season, the Gladiators will need to make the most of their open threes, with Patrick Whelan their main sharpshooter sinking 45.5 of his threes in the British league.
CSM CSU Oradea aim to get back to Europe after the 2016-17 season, and brought Brandon Brown back to Romania from his stint in Eurocup outfit Brandon Brown, while also signing prized asset Sayeed Pridgett from their rival team Rapid Bucuresti and agreeing terms with former Baxi Manresa forward Travante Williams and CEBL standout Kalif Young to add muscle in the paint.
