Aliaga Petkimspor favorites as they "host" Heroes Den Bosch in BCL Qualifiers
The 7th outfit from Turkiye surrendered to future champions Fenerbahce Beko in the Basketbol Süper Ligi but geared up for a Basketball Champions League run. The Izmir outfit had a busy summer, adding former Sassari standout Breein Tyree at the Point Guard position, as well as Jaime Echenique, Wesley Van Beck from the German BBL, averaging double figures in the league and in the Europe Cup.
It will also be interesting to see Bryson Williams in action in pro basketball after showing up bigtime for the Saskatchewan Rattlers in the CEBL this summer, averaging 16.8 ppg and 97 rpg.
Den Bosch shuffled things around this season, giving a chance to former Southern Metodist and Kentucky big man Samuel Williamson, who will start his pro career in Den Bosch, and former Austin Spurs guard Justin Kier. On the wing, they confirmed Sherron Dorsey-Walker to provide at both ends of the floor.
