The last time these two met at the OQTs, Giannis and Greece fell short to Saric, Hezonja, and Bojan Bogdanovic with a 61-66 defeat in the Semi-Finals in Turin.

Croatia vs Greece preview
The two best teams in the Piraeus tournament meet in the Final, to determine who gets a chance at ultimate glory in Paris.
Greece have looked unstoppable, averaging 99.3 points per game while scoring a ridiculous 70% from 2 and 45% from deep.
They share the ball incredibly well, averaging 28.7 assists per game, while putting solid pressure on the passing lanes (8 steals per game).
Croatia can count on some of the best basketball of Ivica Zubac’s career: the Clippers center has been having the time of his life, averaging 24 points and 11 rebounds on an absurd, competition-leading 36.3 Efficiency (Doncic is 2nd at 26.3).
Croatia need to step up their perimeter defense while ensuring they take care of the ball, as Greece has been lethal at converting turnovers into points.
Saric and co need to keep dominating the boards (they average 40 rebounds per game to Greece’s 30) and ensure they have a defensive solution to avoid Giannis’ easy path to the basket.
It’s easier said than done, but Croatia might prove a tougher cookie to crack for Greece than Luka and Slovenia were.
However, the 12,000 fans in the Piraeus will make sure their voices are heard as they did in the Semi-Final.
