Tofas Bursa extended PAOK’s losing streak to three games as they secured the road win in Thessaloniki to take pole position in the play-ins series they entered as the underdog vs PAOK mateco.
The Turkish side brought back Marcus Denmon, last season at Peristeri, and the signing paid off: the combo guard scored 21 points in a resounding road win.
PAOK mateco will need to do better to end their slump, during which they never scored more than 80 points. In desperate need of confidence and consistency, the Greeks have dropped their GBL game at home against Maroussi as well.
