In a record-setting offensive display, UCAM Murcia achieved their highest point total in a Basketball Champions League (BCL) game, overpowering Tofas Bursa with an emphatic 115-89 victory.

This triumph at the Palacio de los Deportes not only marked Murcia's joint-biggest win in the competition but also represented the first time Tofas Bursa suffered a defeat by more than 20 points in the BCL, as well as the most points they have conceded in the tournament.

Murcia's shots could not stop falling, as Sito Alonso's players hit 64.6% of their field goals, the highest in a BCL regular season game since December 2019. The team's sharpshooting prowess was highlighted by their 14 successful three-pointers out of 25 attempts.

Troy Caupain led the charge with an impressive 18 points, including 12 points from beyond the arc in the third quarter, marking his best performance since joining Murcia for the 2023-24 season. Nemanja Radovic was dominant inside, scoring 15 points on 7/10 shooting from two-point range. The Swedish duo of Simon Birgander and Ludvig Hakanson each contributed 12 points, helping Murcia extend their winning streak to four games across all competitions, including a strong start in Spain’s Liga Endesa.

For Tofas Bursa, Caleb Homesley and Cassius Winston shared the team-high with 17 points each. Tofas struggled to take care of the ball, conceding 18 turnovers, transformed by Murcia in 26 points. The home side dominated the paint (50 points) and added 61 from the bench to sink Tofas to 1 and 2 in Group H of the BCL.

Tofas Bursa, now facing a challenging path ahead, will look to rebound in their next BCL encounter against Italy's Bertram Derthona Tortona.
