Galatasaray look to start with the right foot against RASTA Vechta
A completely different Galatasaray team wants to start their BCL season as they wait for RASTA Vechta at the Basketball Development Centre.
Coach Sekizkok will field a renewed team, with Will Cummings and Otis Livingston II from Hapoel Tel Aviv and Wuerzburg making the backcourt, and James Palmer Jr. (making the switch from Turk Telekom) joining them on the wing.
The only "survivor" from last year's lineup, Sadik Kabaca, is joined by Angel Delgado, signed from Besiktas, in a physical frontcourt.
Last time they were in the BCL, RASTA liked to open the court and shoot from deep. While they kept Aminu and Gruenloh in their roster, Brandon Randolph, Jayden Gardner, and Lloyd Pandi all look set to slot into the starting lineup.
Who will prevail in Istanbul? Will Galatasaray make it three in a row at home against BBL teams, or will RASTA Vechta come back with a bang?
